The only way to learn is to try something different. That’s why I bought a one-way ticket to Ecuador at 24 years old. Since then, I’ve backpacked alone through Colombia, Bolivia, Mexico, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Mongolia, Georgia (the country), and more. I’ve bungee jumped, skydived, hiked to 16,000 feet, slept on ice next to a leopard seal, ran through a West Virginia town in a T-rex outfit, started my own small business, and biked 52 miles. I’ve spent a year caring for a sick parent and learned a lot about life.
